French Film "COCO" closes the Jewish Film Festival HK

The 10th Annual Hong Kong Jewish Film just opened with a thouroughly enjoyable film by Israeli directors Erez Tadmor and Sharon Maymon, A matter of size.

This great beginning promises many more good moments like this with the 22 films that are being shown throughout the week.

Also mark your agenda for another comedy, popular French film Coco by Gad Elmaleh , which will be the closing film of this edition. This film will be screened on November 22nd at 9:50 PM at the AMC Pacific Place cinemas. Tickets go on sale at the AMC Pacific Place cinema box office and online at www.amccinemas.com.hk.

The festival takes place from 14 to 22 November.

Synopsis

Coco is a wealthy Sephardi Jewish businessman and an immigrant to France. After 15 years of financial success (due to his invention of a new type of sparkling water), he decides to throw an enormous bar mitzvah celebration for his son Samuel. Determined that the celebration will be the most fantastic event of the year, Coco alienates his entire family as he plans for the gala.
